He was a founder of multiple key institutions: he helped establish the RSS in Jammu and Kashmir, was the founder of the Jammu Praja Parishad, and was one of the principal architects of the all-India student organization, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
