Perhaps the most distinct element of this concept is the social dimension. The philosophy of Ubuntu —"I am because we are"—is central to well-being. Emphliso is rarely achieved in isolation. It is nurtured through healthy relationships, support systems, and contributing to the welfare of others. When we help a neighbor or participate in community rituals, our own "life-force" is strengthened. Isolation, conversely, is seen as a threat to one’s health.
