The production of "Hridayam" was a journey in itself. Principal photography began in February 2020, with shooting taking place at the real-life KCG College of Technology in Chennai, as well as in Palakkad, Kochi, and Andhra Pradesh. However, the shoot was soon interrupted by the surge of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. After a long pause, filming resumed and was finally concluded in March 2021.
