Grindr 1.7.4 was built before GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California). The old code does not support modern privacy requests. If a hacker accesses your data, you have zero legal recourse because you are using a stolen, modified version of the app.
Why can’t you just download 1.7.4 today and rule the world? Because Grindr’s API is a graveyard. When you log in with that vintage IPA, the servers return a polite but firm error: “Version too old.” The app tries to load, sees a modem-era data structure, and crashes.

FREERIDE/SKITOUR: Very subjective, but is a route more-of-a-walk-than-a-ski or the other way around? Some routes are all about the screaming downhill (freeride), some are more about the hunt for a peak or nice forest (ski-tour). Some are in between.
