The company invests substantial resources in high-end production—cinematography, location scouting, wardrobe, professional lighting—costs that must be recouped through legitimate subscriptions and purchases. When consumers access this content without paying, they undermine the economic model that makes such high production values possible. Conversely, the industry's reliance on litigation as a revenue stream raises questions about whether copyright enforcement has become a primary business model rather than a means of protecting creative work.
