“Memory card is unformatted” error when booting Tekken 3. Solution: Your MCR is corrupted or region-mismatched. Use MemcardRex to “new card → import block” from a known-good MCR.
Download the file and extract it if it arrives in a .zip or .rar archive.
Standard memory card files (.mcr) contain complete data blocks generated by PlayStation 1 emulators.
