This is the most common risk. Cracked installers are a favorite vector for distributing Remote Access Trojans (RATs). These are malicious programs that give an attacker full access to your system, allowing them to steal sensitive data, install keyloggers, or use your computer in a botnet to launch attacks on others. Attackers can also hijack existing remote access tools to maintain stealthy persistence.
