She fought in a huge number of competitive matches while also refereeing bouts and interviewing fighters, essentially becoming the public face of the company. This era of LGIS emphasized competitive action, with full-on boxing right through to semi-erotic wrestling, but with the major component always being competitive action. From its explosive start, LGIS went on to stage a remarkable 19 events across various German cities, as well as in London and Cham, Switzerland, throughout the remainder of the 1970s. The promotion of such events was not without its problems, however, as LGIS faced opposition from some local authorities who claimed the events were lewd or improper, as well as from women's lib campaigners who argued the girls were being sexually exploited.
