Open PCMSCAN, navigate to Settings > OBD-II Connection , and select the correct COM port and baud rate (usually 38400 or 115200 for ELM327).

Click to poll the vehicle modules for stored, pending, or permanent faults.

Review the alphanumeric codes along with their system descriptions. Fix the physical faults on the vehicle first.
