The film follows the adventures of two estranged brothers, Vibhooti (Saif Ali Khan) and Chiraunji (Arjun Kapoor), who run a successful “exorcism” business largely based on trickery and exploiting superstition. Their lives take a turn when they are hired by a family to banish a powerful and vengeful demon called “Kichkandi,” which is haunting a tea estate in the picturesque hills of Himachal Pradesh. Unlike their usual fake assignments, the brothers soon realize this ghost is dangerously real, forcing them to confront actual supernatural forces.
While Vibhooti is a cynical womanizer purely motivated by cash, Chiraunji harbors deep guilt and genuinely wants to study real ghost-hunting techniques. Their fake business faces a real challenge when Maya (Yami Gautam) hires them to rid her family's remote tea estate of a legendary malevolent spirit known as the Kichkandi . Alongside Maya's skeptical sister Kanika (Jacqueline Fernandez), the fraudulent duo is forced to confront actual paranormal forces.
