Temporarily disable Windows Defender or third-party firewalls to see if they are falsely flagging the VPN or proxy.
A VPN creates an encrypted "tunnel" between your device and a server operated by the VPN company. All your internet traffic goes through this tunnel. To your school, office, or ISP, it looks like you are just securely talking to the VPN server. To the website you are trying to reach, it looks like the request is coming from the VPN server’s location (not yours).
Go to your device’s network settings > TCP/IP > change DNS servers from "Automatic" to "Manual" and input the numbers above. Note: This does NOT hide your traffic from a sophisticated firewall using DPI; it only defeats basic DNS blocks.
